The BBOA, or Brother Bear Online Archive, is an unofficial fan site for Disney’s movie, Brother Bear. I, Nikiski, is the maintainer of the site. The story of this site’s development is quite… dreamy… I suppose…

The Start

It certainly was dreamy… I was dozing of in my literature class one afternoon… and I thought about the movie that I watched the day before, which happened to be Brother Bear. I thought about it, and I wanted to do something special since it did have an impact on me. Then I took out a pencil and kind of drafted out the outline of version 1 of the site. I never did upload it, until I met Spectrum. After a short conversation I was quite determined to run and maintain this site. There’s the start!

One Year of Growth

Then it started. Boom. Just like that. Then I met Ken’ichi, Masika, and many of my otherwise-won’t-met friends, thanks to Brother Bear. In this first year, Ken’ichi and I have gotten pretty close and we call each other brother now. BBOA continues to grow with added features, and uptil just about now I feel that there needs to be a change. Thus the version 2 of BBOA.
